Bryan Habana was undeniably one of the heroes when the Spingboks won the Rugby World Cup in 2007. Scoring 8 tries in the tournament equaling the record of legend Jonah Lomu. Since then, Habana has had a slump in form and it feels like forever since he equaled the record for most tries by a Springbok. (38 by another legend Joost van der Westhuizen.) He just haven’t been able to get over the chalk in the Green and Gold in recent times. Habana started his career at the Lions before moving over the Jukskei river to the Bulls. It was here that he flourished before make the move down south to the Stormers two seasons ago. He has been struggling for form at the Stormers but his last few games has again started to show what he is capable of, making some big plays especially on defense. Lets hope the World Cup will once again spark his confidence with Habana taking both those records for himself.
