Simon Dyson is the most recent winner in the European tour by winning the KLM Open in Hilversum Netherlands. This is his 3rd KLM Open title where he won it previously in 2006 and 2009.

“It’s something special, a dream come true really. To win any title once is tough, but to win it three times is a fantastic feeling” he said.

It could’ve been a good results for South Africa when keeping in mind that James Kingston from South African was joint leader after round 3. But with a final round of 3 over par 73 he finished on 6th position. World number 4 Rory Mcilroy shot a decent final round of 67 to end on 3rd spot. World number 2 Lee Westwood jumped 13 positions on the final round thanks to his 66 on the final round. Open Championship ¬†winner Louis Oosthuizen had a quite a poor first round of 5 over par 75 and even though he had a pretty decent 2nd round of 68, he failed to make the 2nd cut.

See below how all the South African golfers performed:

Player Position
James Kingston T6
Thomas Aiken T36
Louis Oosthuizen T101
Shaun Norris T128
