Thomas Bjorn has won his 2nd successive victory in this year’s European Tour by winning the Omega European Masters this past weekend in Switzerland.

Thanks to his 2nd successive victory, Bjorn has jumped to 7th on the Race to Dubai ranking

The Dane shot a final round of 62 which gave him a lead of 4 strokes over German Martin Kaymer. This is quite the opposite of his previous victory at the Johnny Walker Championship at Gleneagles where he was in a 5-man playoff which included South African George Coetzee.

US Open winner Rory Mcilroy ended tied 3rd with South African Jaco van Zyl.

World no 2 Lee Westwood shot 70 on the final round which secured him 6th position.

Below is a summary of how the top SA players ended up:

Player Position
Jaco van Zyl T3
Keith Horne T12
George Coetzee T25
Louis Oosthuizen T35
