Edgemead is currently home to 1220 students of diverse backgrounds spread across Grades 8 to 12. The school is a very busy place as it offers a variety of activities in the academic, sport and cultural spheres of life at school. At Edgemead High School, all students are encouraged to strive for personal achievement in the context of a supportive, empowering environment.

In 2024, Up and Under partnered up with Edgemead High school to develop their fist ever girls rugby teams.

Players receive two weekly training sessions and compete in provincial festivals and organized friendly matches.
